Sharing in the Gospel is a principle that the Apostle Paul understood. He had partners in the Gospel, people who lifted him up in prayer continually and who also saw to his needs. It was to these people that he said “May God supply your needs according to his riches in Glory.

“always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:4-6

Take Heart – A dose of Encouragement exists to encourage women (and men) in their walk with God. We try to do this by writing weekly blog posts, creating Printables and sending out newsletters that are designed to blast your faith.

Ephesians 4:16 says “From him, the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”

Jesus is the vine and we are the branches (John 15:5). He connects us all together. We are His body and without Him, we can do nothing. That is why He admonishes us to stay connected. Each one of us has to bring our part – in sharing in the Gospel.

We may not all be called to full-time ministry but we can get involved in different ways. We can partner with a ministry by committing to support them in prayer and giving finances to it to further its gospel-related work. When we partner with them, we tap into their anointing and it begins to reflect in our lives. So, we need to make sure who we are in covenant with. See our Statement of Faith here.

Galatians 6:6 (AMP), says “The one who is taught the word [of God] is to share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his spiritual and material support].“

When we receive the Word that is taught to us, we can get into agreement with it by contributing towards it. It’s a spiritual principle that when set in motion, can cause us to reap dividends. What a man sows, that he will reap (Galatians 6:7).
