Scriptures<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"688\">We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books in its original form, is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is God\u2019s complete and final revelation to mankind and the ultimate standard for all matters of faith, doctrine and daily living. The Bible was written under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is the foundation for our teaching and way of life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Acts 1:16)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"738\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Trinity_%E2%80%93_One_God_in_Three_Persons\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"736\">The Trinity \u2013 One God in Three Persons<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"1085\">We believe in one true and living God, who exists eternally in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal and one in essence. God is the Creator, Sustainer and Redeemer of all things and is worthy of all worship, glory and obedience. (John 1:1, 14, 18; Hebrews 1:8; Acts 5:3\u20134)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1126\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jesus_Christ_%E2%80%93_The_Son_of_God\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1124\">Jesus Christ \u2013 The Son of God<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1127\" data-end=\"1389\">We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and the promised Messiah. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, revealing the Kingdom of God through teaching, miracles and love.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1834\">Jesus was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day, He rose bodily from the grave, defeating sin and death. His resurrection was not symbolic \u2013 it was a physical reality, witnessed by many. After appearing to His disciples, Jesus ascended to heaven, where He now reigns in glory, interceding as our High Priest and Advocate. (Philippians 2:5\u20138; 1 Corinthians 15:3\u20134, 14\u201321; Luke 24:6, 39; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 4:14\u201316; Mark 16:19)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1836\" data-end=\"1861\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Holy_Spirit\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"1840\" data-end=\"1859\">The Holy Spirit<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1862\" data-end=\"2108\">We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully God and co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is active in the world today, convicting of sin, drawing people to Christ and empowering believers for holy living and service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2110\" data-end=\"2558\">The Holy Spirit indwells every believer at salvation, producing spiritual fruit and bestowing spiritual gifts for the building of the Church. We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, including the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit and the guidance, comfort and empowerment He gives to all who follow Christ. (John 14:16\u201317, 26; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Romans 8:9\u201311; 1 Corinthians 12:4\u201311; Galatians 5:22\u201323)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2560\" data-end=\"2579\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Salvation\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2577\">Salvation<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"2889\">We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works, but is granted to all who repent, believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross and confess Him as Lord and Saviour. (Ephesians 2:8\u20139; Romans 10:9\u201310; John 3:16; Acts 4:12)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2891\" data-end=\"3159\">Through salvation, we are justified (declared righteous), our spirit man renewed (born again) and adopted into God\u2019s family. The believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit and called to live a transformed life in fellowship with God. (Titus 3:5; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3161\" data-end=\"3178\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Baptism\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3176\">Baptism<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3179\" data-end=\"3459\">We believe in water baptism by full immersion, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward faith\u2014an act of obedience that symbolises the believer\u2019s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3461\" data-end=\"3672\">While baptism is not required for salvation, it is a powerful testimony of one\u2019s commitment to Christ and a vital step in the life of discipleship. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3\u20134; Colossians 2:12)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3674\" data-end=\"3693\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Communion\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"3678\" data-end=\"3691\">Communion<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3694\" data-end=\"3951\">We believe that the Lord\u2019s Supper, or Communion, is a sacred ordinance instituted by Jesus. It is a time of remembrance, thanksgiving, and reflection, where believers partake of the bread and the cup to honour Christ\u2019s body and blood sacrificed on the cross.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3953\" data-end=\"4156\">Communion is open to all born-again believers and is observed regularly in reverence and unity, proclaiming the Lord\u2019s death until He comes again. (Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 2:42)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4158\" data-end=\"4178\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Church\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"4162\" data-end=\"4176\">The Church<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4179\" data-end=\"4444\">We believe the Church is the global body of Christ, composed of all believers who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour. The Church exists to worship God, teach the Word, proclaim the gospel, equip believers for ministry and serve the world with Christ\u2019s love.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4446\" data-end=\"4754\">The local church is a community of believers committed to fellowship, discipleship, baptism and the ordinances of Communion and Baptism. It is called to be a light in the world, advancing the Kingdom of God until Christ returns. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42\u201347; Ephesians 4:11\u201316; 1 Corinthians 12:12\u201327)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"4756\" data-end=\"4783\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Second_Coming\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"4760\" data-end=\"4781\">The Second Coming<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"4784\" data-end=\"4995\">We believe in the literal, personal, and visible return of Jesus Christ to earth. At His coming, He will judge the living and the dead, establish His eternal Kingdom, and bring final restoration to all creation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4997\" data-end=\"5294\">Christ\u2019s return is a blessed hope that encourages believers to live holy and godly lives, eagerly awaiting His appearing. We affirm the bodily resurrection of the dead and the eternal life of both the saved and the lost. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16\u201317; Revelation 20:11\u201315; John 14:1\u20133)<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5296\" data-end=\"5322\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Christian_Living\"><\/span><strong data-start=\"5300\" data-end=\"5320\">Christian Living<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5323\" data-end=\"5584\">We believe that all believers are called to live lives that reflect the love, holiness, and righteousness of Jesus Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians are empowered to grow in faith, serve others, and witness to the gospel in word and deed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5586\" data-end=\"5928\">The Christian life is one of daily repentance, obedience, prayer, worship, fellowship, and mission. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbours as ourselves. Our purpose is to glorify God and build His Kingdom on earth.
