Yet Scripture reminds us that God calls us to something greater than our feelings. Jacob and Esau spent years estranged. Compassion grows. Refuse to Make Permanent Decisions From Temporary Pain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In moments of hurt, we may make inner vows:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m done with them forever.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;They&#8217;ll never change.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I don&#8217;t care what happens to them.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pain can speak loudly, but it should never have the final word.<\/p>\n<p>Proverbs 3:5 reminds us:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Healthy boundaries may be necessary, but bitterness and hopeless declarations rarely reflect the heart of God.<\/p>\n<p>Leave room for grace.<\/p>\n<p>Leave room for redemption.<\/p>\n<p>Leave room for God to surprise you.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Pray_for_Your_Siblings_With_the_Same_Kindness_God_Shows_You\"><\/span>5. Pray for Your Siblings With the Same Kindness God Shows You<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;God&#8217;s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.&#8221; \u2014 Romans 2:4<\/p>\n<p>Jesus never required perfection before offering love.<\/p>\n<p>His kindness drew people toward Him.<\/p>\n<p>Kindness doesn&#8217;t mean becoming a doormat. It means refusing to repay evil with evil and allowing God to work in ways we cannot see.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6_Pray_for_Your_Siblings_by_Carrying_Their_Burdens_to_God\"><\/span>6. Pray for Your Siblings by Carrying Their Burdens to God<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Carry each other&#8217;s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.&#8221; \u2014 Galatians 6:2<\/p>\n<p>You cannot control your sibling&#8217;s choices.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot heal every wound.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot save them.<\/p>\n<p>But you can bring them before the One who can.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer is one of the greatest expressions of love because it places people into God&#8217;s capable hands.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Pray_for_Your_Siblings_Because_Love_Is_Greater_Than_Feelings\"><\/span>7.
