Jesus called His house a house of prayer (Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:13, Mark 11:17). He said it was for all people, for all nations. He is highlighting the vital part that prayer plays in our lives. It’s an invitation to all people to come to Jesus and to pray.
Most of us know the story of Job quite well. He lost everything but still chose to worship God. The interesting thing to note in Job 42:10-11 is that God only restored everything to Him when He prayed for His friends.
As the body of Christ, we should be praying not just for ourselves but for each other. Coming together to stand in agreement for a brother or sister in Christ should be the norm. That is exactly what “Let’s Pray” is all about. Supporting and holding each other up in prayer.
If you have a prayer need, you are welcome to share it.
